it was... really good. hard to be back in a lot of ways, but i'm more determined as well. and i guess it was successful cos sam agreed to letting eudio fix the blood disorder we've both got.

no more scenes like the one at pandemonium, mine kicked in right away.

thanks, izzy. sometimes i wish she could meet everyone here, you're all so brilliant and supportive, but we just won't leave our parents alone like that. we'll have to make the most of the LINKS when we've all gone our own ways.

the thing i left on the counter this morning is for you by the way.

[ it's a simple phone case, but it's glittery and shiny and white, almost exactly like that dress of hers. there isn't much occasion to give each other gifts back home, but this made him think of her, so there. ]

[Izzy has, as promised, brought dinner. It's Italian, pasta and sauce in plastic tubs, garlic bread, olives, more dishes than are really needed for two people. She'd had this restaurant ear-marked for trying for a week or so.]

I wasn't sure what you'd want.

[She says it before Alec can point out how much she's brought. It's not true. She usually has a better idea of what he wants than he does, and an accompanying strong sense for the kind of talks he would pre-request an at-home chat for.]

[ Isabelle's holiday present is very carefully left just inside her bedroom door. The paper is red and wrapped in a little gold bow, Clary's flowery handwriting on the label reading 'I hope I got it right. Happy Holidays xx'.

Surprisingly, despite not being a girly girl, Clary had a lot of fun picking out things for Isabelle. The first is a choker necklace, because she thinks they're in right now, a friendship bracelet, and a bathbomb that shimmers deep purple whenever used. She feels a little ridiculous but hey, first proper girl friend. She's doing the friendship bracelet thing. ]
